Western tradition dictates that engagement rings are worn on the fourth finger of the left hand. While tradition and cultures are a guide to follow, it really is the choice of the wearer. Remember that no matter which hand, the important thing is that the ring symbolizes your love and commitment to your partner.

There are many designs to choose from when it comes to engagement rings, such as solitaire, pave, halo and vintage. There are also numerous diamond shapes you can pick such as round, princess, cushion, emerald, oval, radiant, etc. As such, the best engagement ring design is one that you like and are comfortable with, so choose one that you love.
