Product Availability and Pricing

Data, including prices, may be inaccurately displayed on our Site due to system or typographical errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur, and we do not honour inaccurate or erroneous prices. If a product’s listed price is lower than its actual price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping the product or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. If the order has been shipped, you agree to either return the product or pay the difference between the actual and charged prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of our consultants at service@zcova.com. We do not negotiate prices on our products and all our prices are final.

 

Diamond Certificates

When you order a loose diamond, we ship it to you with the accompanying diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). These grading reports are detailed documents created by diamond grading experts at one of two highly respected diamond laboratories – making it very expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included with each returned diamond. If you do not include the diamond grading report with your return, you will be charged a replacement fee.

 

Dual Certificates

To qualify for GemEx certification, the diamond has to be selected by ZCOVA’s GIA Graduate Gemologist to ensure it meets the stringent requirements of GemEx. GemEx will not issue a certificate for diamonds that do not meet this standard.

• Not all diamonds on the ZCOVA website are dual-certified.
• Only 1 in a thousand diamonds are LUMOS by ZCOVA Qualified.
• If the customer has agreed upon selected diamond after being advised by ZCOVA consultants that it does not meet ZCOVA and GemEx criteria, the customer may still purchase the diamond but a GemEx certificate will not be provided. A disclaimer will be written in your Proforma Invoice. 
• The GemEx certificate will only be issued once the diamond is confirmed and has arrived in our office where we will scan it with the BrillianceScope Analyzer. GemEx certificate will take about 2 months for delivery. 
• ZCOVA will refund the LUMOS by ZCOVA diamond if it does not meet GemEx requirements of Triple High Ratings. ZCOVA gemologist will advise on this matter. 
• ZCOVA does not charge extra for dual certificates.

B. Returns & Refunds

1. Customers are to carefully select their diamonds so that the need to return/exchange does not arise. 
2. After full or partial payment is made ZCOVA assumes that the customer has carefully considered and agreed upon the diamond and gemstone specification, and no cancellation or refund is allowed.
3. At ZCOVA we stand behind the quality of our products and offer customers the opportunity to request for a refund under the following conditions:
1. GIA number inscribed on the diamond does not match its GIA certificate.
2. LUMOS by ZCOVA Diamond does not achieve at least Triple High Light Performance in its GemEx certificate.
4. ZCOVA will send customers a digital video or picture of the GIA certificate number inscribed on the girdle of the diamond before the goods are sent. If the digital video or picture is agreed upon, no return is allowed to prevent fraudulent refund.
5. Customers must contact ZCOVA first before returning an item.
6. In case of refunds, goods sold need to be returned in their original condition (without any damage) with all accompanying packaging, documents, materials and proof that the inscribed number is not accurate, and no later than 7 days after the purchase date. In case any of the items are missing, the customer will be charged a penalty for replacements.
7. Upon receiving your returned item in its original condition with all accompanying documents and materials, the diamond will be weighed and checked against its corresponding grading certificate and our quality assurance graduate gemologist will sign it off. Your refund will then be processed in the next 4-5 days; however it may take as long as 2 weeks, depending on your location and/or payment method.
8. While we do offer all clients free shipping when delivering your order, we deduct a shipping charge for returns. This charge is the exact amount the courier company charges for the shipment and it will be deducted from your refund.
9. It is important to note that in the case of a purchase of a multi-diamond or coloured gemstones parcel (for example, 2 or more diamonds or coloured gemstones in one purchase or from the same client), we cannot accept the claim that the majority, or all of the diamonds are unacceptable and need to be returned. For this reason, for those customers which purchase more than one diamond we cannot always honour our 7 day returns policy for more than one of the diamonds in the parcel. We will always notify you prior to sending out the diamond(s) if we cannot honour our return policy for the purchase you have made.

 

Price Match

The following terms and conditions apply to ZCOVA’s Diamond Price Match program:

1. ZCOVA's Diamond Price Match program applies only to certified loose diamonds sold through www.zcova.com .
2. The Diamond Price Match program only applies before you purchase your ZCOVA diamond.
3. To verify the competing price, you must supply our Diamond and Jewellery Consultants with:
   1. A link that contains an actual Photo and 360º Video of the diamond along with a certificate link to the diamond. 
   2. a link to a website offer or a published price offer or an official quotation for the diamond.
   3. If the picture, video or certificate comes in a separate link. It will not be qualified for a price match. 
4. The competing price must be available to any member of the public and cannot be a unique discount.
5. The lower price must remain in effect at the time your request is verified by ZCOVA.
6. Expired offers are not eligible.
7. Competing prices must be in the same currency.
8. The competitor's diamond must have the same characteristics, including carat weight, cut, colour, clarity, fluorescence, table and depth percentage, symmetry, etc. as a certified ZCOVA diamond. ZCOVA reserves the right to review your request and decide, in our sole discretion, whether the competitor's diamond is comparable.
9. Diamond price match does not qualify for coloured diamonds.
10. The competitor's diamond must have a GIA grading certificate and the certificate must be dated within the last two (2) years.
11. The competitor's diamond must be in stock and available for purchase at that price.
12. The ZCOVA price is the price after any rebates, gift certificates, and promotional discounts have been applied to the item. Costs for comparable shipping and handling will be included in the price comparison.
13. Competitors' special promotions such as rebates, gift certificates, bundled products and "buy one, get one" offers are not eligible for the Diamond Price Match Program.
14. Time-limited sales events, offers advertised as limited in time or quantity, clearance, liquidation and going-out-of-business sales, and loyalty program offers are ineligible for the Diamond Price Match program.
15. The Diamond Price Match Service does not apply where the competitor or ZCOVA has made a pricing error or typographical error on an item.
16. Pawn shops and auctions (websites or brick and mortar stores) are ineligible for the Diamond Price Match Program.
17. Only one diamond per customer is eligible for the Diamond Price Match program (multiple claims on the same diamond will not be eligible, regardless of the quantity ordered), and the Diamond Price Match program can only be applied once per diamond, even if a lower-priced offer is subsequently found.
18. The Diamond Price Match program only applies to purchases for personal use. The Diamond Price Match program does not apply to purchases for resale or commercial purposes.
19. If ZCOVA decides to match a competitor's price, we will honour the new price for 48 hours.
20. ZCOVA reserves the right to verify all information regarding the competing offer and to refuse to offer a lower price, in its sole discretion, is unsatisfied with its ability to verify the competing price.
21. We reserve the right to: (1) deny requests, (2) modify these terms at any time, and (3) terminate the Diamond Price Match program at any time.

 

Jewellery Customisation Terms

ZCOVA’s 3D printing service is only available for custom-made or bespoke jewellery designs.

3D renders and 3D printed rings will only be provided for confirmed custom-made orders who have made an initial payment of 70% (Engagement Ring) or 50% (Wedding Bands).

Terms for Malaysian Customers (East and West Malaysia)

Customised Jewellery

The terms for 3D renders and 3D prints for customised jewellery designs are as below.

• After design is selected, small amendments on these 2 designs can be done at no extra charge. 4 working days required per amendment.

Bespoke Jewellery

In the case where the customer would like to create a bespoke jewellery design with undecided diamond, and/or undecided ring design, the terms for 3D renders and 3D prints are as below:

Deposit

• A deposit of RM3000 is required to start the design process.
• RM1500 will be deducted from the deposit if the customer decides not to purchase from ZCOVA at the end of the discussion and sampling.

• 2x free jewellery designs. 8 working days required.
• After design is selected, small amendments on these 2 designs can be done at no extra charge. 4 working days required per amendment.
• 1x free 3D print delivery (excluding ring sizer). 4 working days required.

• No extra charge for small amendments on additional jewellery designs. 4 working days required per amendment.

Loan of Sample Rings

For customers who wish to propose first and customise their ring later with their partner, we have sample rings available to loan.

A deposit is required to loan a sample ring:
For engagement rings, a deposit of RM3000 is required
For wedding bands, a deposit of RM3500 is required

If the customer decides not to purchase their actual ring from ZCOVA after loaning our sample ring, 50% will be deducted from the deposit and will not be refunded.

 

Information on our Site

At ZCOVA, we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalogue is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, colour and size may vary slightly. Our objective is to provide you with as much information and detail about your prospective purchase as possible so that you can see the beauty and shape of a particular item. In compliance with industry standards and FTC regulations, ZCOVA states that carat total weight in all purchases may vary 0.05 carats from stated weight. On the Site, we provide the measurement of our products based on our manufacturing specifications. Slight tolerances may be accounted for based on finishing during the manufacturing. Width tolerance on machine made wedding bands of 0.20mm is allowed. Cast manufactured rings can vary slightly more. For gemstone and pearl measurements, a tolerance of 0.25mm is allowed. For diamond jewellery set with multiple diamonds, we provide the minimum total carat weight for the piece. Colour and clarity grades are expressed as either a minimum or an average depending on the number of diamonds. If stated as a minimum, all diamonds within the piece are at or above the stated quality. If expressed as an average, collectively the quality is equal to or exceeds the grade stated.

ZCOVA, the ZCOVA logos, and any other product or service name or slogan contained in our Site are trademarks of ZCOVA and its suppliers or licensors, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of ZCOVA or the applicable trademark holder. You may not use any metatags or any other “hidden text” utilizing “ZCOVA” or any other name, trademark or product or service name of ZCOVA without our prior written permission. Notwithstanding any of these Terms and Conditions, ZCOVA reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your license to use this site, and to block or prevent future access to and use of the Site.

 

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
